Obviously, while the bathroom is being remodeled, the whole family cannot use this part of the house. The ongoing construction will take several days or even weeks and it can cause great inconvenience to everyone especially if there is only bathroom in the house.
The best you can do about the situation is by planning the remodeling schedule carefully. Have the work done during summer break when the kids are spending their break in a camp. If they are not joining a camp, perhaps you can send them in the meantime to your parents or friends’ place to stay for several days until the bathroom is done.

When our house was being built, I argued no end with my husband over this simple thing: moldings.
I really wanted to have moldings on the ceiling and would settle for no less, but he insisted it was not necessary because anyway the painter would just coat the corners of the ceiling with darker shade to camouflage the absence of wood moldings.
The moldings gave the house a lovely accent they look like art works. But what I like most with having these fixtures in the house is that the walls don’t look very bare, even if there are no hangings or frames. I was so happy I got what I wanted and my husband never regretted granting my wish.
